The Axanta Point of Sale (POS) system provides a comprehensive suite of features for managing customer transactions, from initiation to final payment. The software facilitates efficient customer and item selection through multiple search methods and defaults to a "walk-in customer" for anonymous transactions. It offers robust line-level controls, allowing cashiers to adjust quantities, void items, override prices, and apply specific discounts in either amount or percentage formats. Furthermore, the system supports transaction-level management, including the ability to void an entire sale or place it on hold to serve other customers. The payment processing module is highly flexible, accommodating exact cash payments, standard cash transactions with automated change calculation, various card types, and split payments across different methods.
