How to Do Replenishment

Use the replenishment screen to review requirements, refresh suggestions, filter products, update rules, and create transfers.

Replenishment screen

The replenishment screen is the main working area for reviewing products that need replenishment. It helps users check suggested quantities, filter replenishment needs, update rules, and create internal transfers where required.

Navigate to Inventory → Periodic → Replenishment to open the replenishment screen.

From this screen, users can:

  • Review products that need replenishment.
  • Check suggested quantities to order.
  • Filter replenishment lines by warehouse and product attributes.
  • Refresh replenishment suggestions.
  • Create or update reordering rules in bulk.
  • Create internal transfers from selected replenishment lines.

Refresh Replenishment Suggestions

The Refresh Replenishment Suggestions action reloads the replenishment screen using the latest stock and planning information.

This should be used when stock or demand has changed, such as:

  • Receipts were completed.
  • Deliveries were validated.
  • Internal transfers were processed.
  • Sales demand or reservations changed.
  • Reordering rules were updated.

Search and filtering options

The replenishment screen includes additional filters so users can work with large replenishment lists more easily.

Users can filter replenishment records by:

  • Warehouse: Review replenishment for selected warehouses.
  • Group: Focus on a product group.
  • Category: Review a specific product category.
  • Subcategory: Narrow the replenishment list further within a category.
  • Brand: Review replenishment by brand.

Select the required values from the search panel to narrow the replenishment list before taking action. The panel also supports searching within filter values, expanding long lists with See more, collapsing them with See less, and removing selected values using Clear Filter.

Create transfer from replenishment

To create a transfer:

  1. Open Inventory → Periodic → Replenishment.
  2. Select one or more replenishment lines.
  3. Ensure the selected lines have a quantity to order.
  4. Click Create Transfer.
  5. The Stock Reorder Wizard opens.
  6. Review the transfer details.
  7. Click Create Order.
  8. The system creates internal transfer records and opens them for review.

Stock Reorder Wizard

The wizard includes the following fields:

  • Scheduled Date: Planned date for the internal transfer.
  • From Warehouse: Warehouse that will supply the stock.
  • Check Onhand: When enabled, the system limits the transfer quantity based on available stock.
  • Qty As Of: Allows the user to calculate stock using Available Qty or Forecasted Qty.
  • Units: Allows the user to create the transfer using Base UoM or Purchase UoM.
  • Rounding Method: Controls how transfer quantities are rounded before transfer creation.
  • Product Lines: Shows the products, warehouses, units of measure, and reorder quantities included in the transfer.

Important: If Purchase UoM is selected, the quantity is shown in Base UoM on the screen and converted during order creation.

When Create Order is clicked, the system groups the selected lines by destination warehouse, creates internal transfer records, and confirms the transfers.
